Permits
Each council has different regulations for skip permits.
We are licensed with the following local councils:
• Barking and Dagenham
• Havering
• Brentwood
• Redbridge
If you wish to have a skip on the road in these councils, we are happy
to apply for your skip permit and charge you the relevant fee including
the skip price on delivery. However, Redbridge Council will only deal
with the public.
Skip permits vary in price between local authorities but are generally
between £25 to £40. Each council’s policy also varies on the duration
of the permit. Additionally, each council varies on how many days
notice they require issuing a permit.
If you are having a skip in a council that is not listed above,
including Redbridge, you will need to contact that council yourself.
Before you do this call us and we will:
• Give you the correct telephone number for the relevant council.
• Reserve a skip for your required date.
• Provide you with the relevant details the permit will require (name and address of skip hire company).
You will then be required to telephone the council and provide them
with your skip hire details and payment details. They will then give
you a permit number which we will require before we can deliver you
your skip.
